Day 1

1st stop: Winter Palace of Bogd Khaan, built in 1924, one of the few sites survived communist purge.
This is the only remaining palace out of four residences where Bogd Khaan, the last Mongolian ruler, resided. 2nd stop: Narantuul aka “Black Market” is the largest bulk sale market in Mongolia. The term “Black market” was a direct translation from Mongolian to English. It’s a place for locals to find and purchase anything and everything in bulk. You can find pretty much anything from shampoos, household items, textile, traditional clothings, souvenirs, carpets, boots, electronic appliance, furniture to even artifacts, the choices are endless. The only trouble you might run into is pickpockets or getting lost.
3rd stop: Tumen Ekh ensemble performance is a highly recommended one because it gives a taste of Mongolian art and culture. The show includes Mongolian throat singing, traditional
instruments and traditional dance.

Day 2

1st stop: Gandantegchilen or Gandan for short, has become the center of religious studies, place of worship for locals and home to more than 800 monks. You can find small stores on the side streets that sell religious items leading up to the main area. Drumming, chanting of the monks can be heard in the morning around 9AM.
2nd stop: Before mining, cashmere was the main export product of Mongolia. Mongolian raw cashmere export accounts nearly 30% of the total world’s supply. Cashmere provides income for more than third of the population and cashmere products are Mongolia’s third largest export. You’ll have a chance to purchase good quality cashmere right from the factory stores!
3rd stop: Enjoy lunch at Mandala resort before going on a 2 hour horse riding adventure. Our well knowledged horse guide will take you out for a ride. Beginners are also welcome!
